Table Tennis Table Technology
In
the early eighties the DONIC developing engineers
started to design a new demanding
tt-table technology that came ready for production
in the middle of the eighties. The international
presentation of this new generation of tables then
has been celebrated
during the World Championships 1987 in New Delhi.
The so-called DONIC Delhi table equipped with this
new
SC-technology (SC = Super Compact) was the first
automatic table ever being played in a World Championships
tournament – and
he excited all experts that were present. Since
this international debut the SC- technology has
been systematically
evolved to a vast programme nowadays.
 Delivery completely assembled
Completely assembled delivery, simply pull the table
out of the special carton – unfold – play. No laborious
assembly anymore!
Easy handling
Due to the synchronic folding
mechanism, the weight of the tops is well balanced and the table is easy and safe to fold and unfold.
Security construction for space saving
The low centre of gravity grants many advantages concerning handling, moving, saving storage space and security.
Optimised playing surface
The playing surface is of highest quality and evenness, but nevertheless durable and insensitive to scratches.
 Long-life construction
All parts that are exposed to wear and tear are extremely strengthened and designed for a use for decades.
Top quality “Made in Germany”
All metal parts are epoxy lacquered and thus permanently protected against corrosion. The SC tables are „made in Germany“ and of highest manufacturing quality.
Height regulation
Every table is adjustable to the floor by special height adapting devices.
Highest security standard
By its synchronized folding mechanism and by the low centre of gravity the SC technology grants an exemplary security. Any risk is further minimised by additional security devices. No question that the SC tables are satisfying already now the new European norm (currently in preparation) without any problem.
 Wheel chair adapted
DONIC Delhi is offered as a wheel chair proved table that has been used in many international handicapped tournaments!
